Some notes about my Travel Journals:

Take a look at some of my Journal pages and note the following:

• The difference between framed and unframed pages

• The layout of the pages

• Colors

• The "Mixed Media" concept which allows one to include basically anything that is 2 dimensional

• Incorporating print materials with my drawing and photos

• The inclusion of all phases of my travel - pre trip planning,  travel itself, schedule, location, after trip info

• Use of pockets, dividers, inserts, etc,

Every animal that I have painted has been personally seen by me - I never paint animals I have not seen with my own eyes.

Some of my Journal pages have been painted "on site" (perhaps on moving forms of transportation) while others are painted from my photographs after the sighting.
