Diane is an artist residing in the Capital District. She has been doing art since grade school but took a 40 year break for her labor relations career and to create and run a professional organizing business.
She has a degree from Cornell University in Labor Relations and a degree from Dutchess Community College.
Her greatest joy in life are her nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephew -- Caitlin, Randi , Heather and Michael and their respective children - Anthony, Adrianna, Celeste, Madelyn and Quinn - some of them budding artists in their own right.
Diane paints what she loves - her great nieces and nephew, travel journals, things in nature and art maps.
She still travels extensively and throughout her life has traveled for work, pleasure, scuba diving and her appreciation of archeology and wildlife.
Diane believes fervently that one cannot truly know her own country until she has seen life in other countries.
Thoughts from a dive vessel on the Red Sea of Egypt:
"I'm not the same having seen the night sky from the other side of the world..."
